So, I’m seeing Dumb and Dumber To on Saturday morning, because it’s way cheaper to see it in the morning!
I was going to say that it’s weird that there haven’t been any reviews online about it yet, but I just checked this morning and Rotten Tomatoes has it rated at 36%, and I was like, “haha, crap”. I knew it would get bad reviews, but 36% is pretty low, even for a comedy. I feel like critics always review comedies pretty poorly, I mean the first Dumb and Dumber is rated at 65%, while users rated it at 84% and even Anchorman is at 66%, while users rated it at 86%, pretty similar, I see a pattern! But what is weird is that Anchorman 2 is rated by critics at a surprising 75%, while even more surprising, users rated it at 54%, so that kind of throws that theory out the door, very strange.
That being said, I can really only hope that Dumb and Dumber To throws a few laughs our way, but if anything, it’ll just be good to see those two together again.
