I don’t think that it’s really a surprise to anyone that the second Avengers movie raked in a ton of money this weekend.
It’s now the second highest opening weekend ever! The biggest surprise to me, however, is that the number 1 spot is the first Avengers! The Avengers brought in over $200M on its opening weekend, while so far, since this weekend isn’t even over yet, Avengers 2 has raked in a whopping $187M!
My bet is that Avengers 2 will surpass the first movie by the end of this weekend.

Wow, The Avengers: Age of Ultron has almost hit $1B! And it’s only been out for 2 weeks! It has raked in about $930M so far, and I’m sure that number will continue to climb. It’s a little behind my prediction of surpassing the first film already, so come on! Let’s pick it up a little!
