I know it’s February so people don’t really care anymore about 2018, but so what! I didn’t get around to it until now! Qualm off!
Anyway, I’ve also seen 40 movies this year, which is insane, thanks MoviePass!
So here is the list of my favorite films from 2018:
10 – A Star is Born: Surprising hit this year, Bradley and The Gaga were both great, and good job Bradley with directing! Had heart, soul and good music.
9 – 8th Grade: So awkward yet so good! There are some really touching moments with her and her dad as well. The date she goes on at the end is my favorite part, so good!
8 – RBG: Inspirational, I hope she lives forever! A really well done documentary. I’ve been getting more into them recently, hmmm.
7 – Won’t You Be My Neighbor?: Probably my favorite documentary from the year, made me tear up more than a few times, shut up!
6 – A Quiet Place: Very original, very tense. Love John and Emily too.
And now for my top 5! Get ready for this!
5 – Game Night: My favorite comedy from the year, such a good script and great plot twist! Loved it all the way through.
4 – Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: My favorite animated movie from this year, great story, great animation style, great soundtrack, also more good representation!
3 – Avengers: Infinity War: Excellent, probably one of my favorite Marvel movies. The stakes were super high, everyone was in the movie together and the chemistry between everyone was great. And such a cliff hanger at the end! Good thing the sequel is coming out in a few months!
2 – Black Panther: A great Marvel film, great to see representation as well. It’s always a good sign when you see countries in Africa celebrating and dressing up like the characters in the movie!
And my favorite movie from 2018 is…drum roll please!
1 – Mission Impossible: Fallout: Probably my favorite Mission Impossible, gasp! Can I say that?? Well I did! It was a lot of fun, Henry Cavill was great in it, and also a great plot twist. The action was great, especially the driving scenes, both cars and motorcycles. Tom Cruise has still got it! It must be the Scientology.
Well those were my favorite movies for the year, if you don’t agree, then qualm me!
