Incredible

You know what I think is so amazing? How we’re able to read. I was reading a book last night, “Devil at my Heals” by Louis Zamperini, which is an incredible book btw, but as I was reading it, I started thinking about how my eyes are barely even seeing each word individually. I was basically scanning everything, not even registering each word, but being able to read every sentence. I’ve literally never seen these exact words put together in these exact sentences, but my mind could still read flawlessly, even the right inflections at the right time. Pretty crazy computing power if you ask me!
