Are you feelin’ the Bern? I know I’m feelin’ the Bern!
Bernie Sanders just announced his campaign for the Democratic Presidential nominee for 2020 this week! Pretty much everyone saw this coming though, wasn’t really a surprise.
I think he’s great; love his ideas, his passion, his unwavering morals and his concern for millennials and gen z’s! The only problem…he’s hella old! If he wins in 2020 and takes office in January of 2021, he’ll be 77! He better pick a really good VP! Maybe Elizabeth Warren, she’s a good second choice.
He’s also got the establishment and Republicans shook, again! I like to see that. It’s fun to see all of the old, white dinosaurs shaking in their boots when they see young people supporting his ideas and not theirs! Trump literally tweeted this after Bernie raised $6 million in the first 24 hours after announcing his run;
“Bernie Sanders announced he will be running for President in 2020 with a very simple platform: FULL-BLOWN SOCIALISM. I honestly thought this was a joke at first, but then his campaign reported that they raised $6 million in the first 24 HOURS. A new wave of radical socialist Democrats is coming, but I have news for them: America will NEVER be a socialist country.”
